US President-elect Donald Trump said he would talk to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy about ending the war. He said this during a press conference in Florida, reports UNN.
Trump noted that his team is trying to end the war.
"But we'll see. We will talk to Putin and Zelensky, the representatives of Ukraine," Trump said.
"He (Zelensky - ed.) would like peace. He wants peace. Everyone is being killed. This is the worst massacre this world has seen since World War II. I have photos of fields where bodies are lying on top of bodies. It reminds me of old photos of the Civil War, where there are only bodies everywhere... if you saw those photos, you would feel it more strongly. This has to stop. And we're trying to stop it," Trump said, as quoted by Voice of America.
He also said that he would like Russia to stop its war against Ukraine, and that "Ukraine should also stop.
