The Ministry of Health is setting up 1348 expert teams to assess the functioning of individuals in 286 hospitals across Ukraine. The new teams will include more than 4,300 doctors of various specializations, which is three times more than in the previous system.

In Ukraine, a list of institutions with expert teams to replace the MSEC has been identified, and they have also been marked on an interactive map, UNN reports with reference to the Ministry of Health.

Expert teams to assess a person's daily functioning will work in 286 hospitals across Ukraine. The new facilities have been chosen to be as accessible as possible to people and at the same time meet modern standards of quality of medical services

In the new system:

1348 expert teams have been created, with more than 4,300 doctors working in them, which is three times more than in the previous system of the MSEC.

The teams are formed by specialization, including surgical, trauma, cardiovascular, psychiatric, etc.

The list of doctors who will work in the Center for Assessment of Functional Status of a Person, providing expert support and review of decisions in case of appeal by the patient, has been determined.

An interactive map and dashboards are already available on the Ministry of Health website, and the list of doctors and contact details are published on the hospitals' information resources.
