US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that new strikes were aimed at another group of Iranian leaders, claiming the impact looked "quite substantial," UNN reports with reference to CNN.
"Another strike was made today against new leadership, and it looks like it was quite substantial," he said from the Oval Office. "So they are taking a very heavy hit."
Trump did not specify which Iranian leaders were targeted or how many people died in the strikes. The attack came after, according to officials, an initial missile barrage last weekend killed 49 Iranian officials, including Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
