Trump claimed the destruction of the Iranian fleet and leadership as a result of US strikes. To end the war, he demands Tehran's complete renunciation of nuclear weapons.

The United States has already dealt a decisive blow to Iran's military and leadership, but the conflict cannot end until Tehran is permanently banned from obtaining nuclear weapons. This was stated by US President Donald Trump in an interview with Newsmax, UNN reports.

Details

According to him, the US military has destroyed the Iranian navy and air force.

"We have already won, but I want to win by a larger margin. ... If you look at their anti-aircraft equipment, their radar equipment, their leadership... Their leadership is destroyed. We destroyed everything,"

- said the head of the White House.

He described Iran as severely weakened both militarily and economically, stating that only firm guarantees against nuclear development would ensure a long-term result. Trump emphasized that Iran's ability to recover from the damage dealt has significantly deteriorated.

"If we leave now, it will take them 20 years to rebuild, if they can rebuild at all. ... But in reality, that is not enough. We need guarantees that they will never have nuclear weapons,"

- the US President emphasized.

He suggested that Iran would use nuclear weapons if it obtained them, "and we will not give them the chance to do so."

Context

According to Bloomberg, the US plans to deploy Dark Eagle missiles for strikes against targets deep inside Iran. The range of the new hypersonic weapon exceeds 2,700 kilometers.
