The Republican presidential candidate, former US President Donald Trump said that he is not in favor of sanctions. Trump said this in an interview with Bloomberg published on July 16, UNN reports.

When asked whether Trump had thought about easing or lifting sanctions against Russia as part of the so-called "deal" he talked about to end the war in Ukraine, the presidential candidate replied:
"Yes. With sanctions, we force everyone to leave us. That's why I don't like sanctions. I found them very useful with Iran, but with Iran I didn't need sanctions that much.
