In connection with the potential resumption of negotiations between the US and Iran this week in Pakistan, American leader Donald Trump posted a message on his Truth Social platform stating that the deal he is making with Iran will be "much better" than the one signed by Barack Obama, UNN reports with reference to SkyNews.

Trump reiterated his attacks on the previous Obama administration's deal – the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) – which he calls one of the "worst deals ever made."
He says that if he had not torn up the deal, nuclear weapons would have been used against Israel and "all over the Middle East."
Looking ahead to a potential deal with Iran, he adds that "it will guarantee peace, security and protection not only for Israel and the Middle East, but also for Europe, America and everywhere else."
"It will be something the whole world will be proud of, instead of years of shame and humiliation that we were forced to endure due to incompetent and cowardly leadership," Trump says.
