The most popular specialty among applicants in 2024 was "Psychology", and among the higher education institutions, the National University "Lviv Polytechnic" had the greatest popularity, writes UNN with reference to the Ministry of Education and Science.

A total of 217,444 applicants applied to higher education institutions during the admission campaign.
Psychology, management, philology, law, computer science - formed the top five most popular specialties among applicants.
And the most popular educational institution was the National University "Lviv Polytechnic". The Lviv Ivan Franko National University, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute", and the State University of Trade and Economics also took the top positions in this ranking.
Reminder
In October, the Verkhovna Rada approved the draft law #12053 on the conduct of NMT in 2025. The test will include 3 compulsory subjects and one elective, and the final school exam (DPA) will not be held.
