At its meeting today, the Cabinet of Ministers approved amendments to the subvention from the state budget for the construction of shelters in schools. This year, regions close to the combat zone will receive UAH 2.5 billion for the construction of shelters. This was announced on Friday by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, UNN reports .

According to him, it is primarily about the areas close to the combat zone:
- Kharkiv region - UAH 500 million;
- Dnipropetrovska oblast - UAH 500 million;
- Zaporizhzhia region - UAH 500 million;
- Mykolaiv region - UAH 200 million;
- Kherson region - UAH 200 million;
- Odesa region - UAH 150 million;
- Sumy region - UAH 150 million;
- Chernihiv region - UAH 150 million.
