Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba welcomed the US praise for the aid package, but said that the allies should increase weapons production to help fight Russia. He said this in an interview with The Guardian, reports UNN.
"Hallelujah," said Dmytro Kuleba when asked about his reaction to the final vote in the US Senate on Tuesday.
However, he said that the resumption of US military aid would not be enough to defeat Russia. "No single package will be able to stop the Russians. What will stop the Russians is a united front of all of Ukraine and all of its partners," Kuleba emphasized.
The minister said that the West needs to increase weapons production, as Ukraine has done.
"When I see what Russia has achieved in creating a defense industrial base in the two years of war and what the West has achieved, I think something is wrong in the West," Kuleba said. He also added: "The West must realize that the era of peace in Europe is over.
