Ukrainian prisoners of war who had official prisoner-of-war status and had been verified by the ICRC were killed in Olenivka. This was reported by Dmytro Lubinets, the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, according to UNN.

Lubinets recalled that at least 53 Ukrainian Defenders were killed on the night of July 28–29, 2022. About 130 others were injured.
