"The Defense Procurement Agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has signed an agreement with a Ukrainian manufacturer for the supply of ground-based kamikaze drones. This was stated by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, UNN reports.

The signing took place after the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President of Ukraine, which was attended by Deputy Defense Minister Dmytro Klimenkov.

These drones are an important part of our defense strategy, as they can effectively perform tasks to defeat the enemy
In addition, the Defense Procurement Agency also signed an agreement for the supply of ammunition.
We continue to purchase the most necessary weapons for the Armed Forces of Ukraine from Ukrainian manufacturers: from ammunition to modern technological solutions such as ground drones. In total, during this visit, we signed deals worth more than UAH 3.7 billion
The ministry emphasizes that this once again demonstrates the Ministry of Defense's commitment to introducing the latest technologies and supporting national industry.

The state has purchased 20 thousand drones of various models for the Defense Forces through Prozorro Market. The total cost of the purchase exceeded UAH 1.7 billion, and the number of drones purchased has doubled over the past 2.5 months.
