The Kremlin named the approximate start time of the summit between US President Donald Trump and Kremlin head Vladimir Putin in Alaska on August 15, as announced by Putin's aide Yuri Ushakov, quoted by Russian media on Thursday, writes UNN.

Details

The meeting between Putin and Trump, according to Ushakov, will begin in Anchorage at approximately 11:30 AM local time (22:30) with a one-on-one conversation in the presence of interpreters. Then, negotiations will take place with delegations, and they will continue over a working breakfast.

The duration of the negotiations "will depend on how the discussion goes. There are time parameters, I said when they will start, when they will end - it will depend on the presidents," Ushakov said.

He clarified that before the meeting, Putin and Trump would say a few words.

According to him, the Russian delegation will fly out of Anchorage "immediately after the end of the negotiations."

The central topic of the summit will be "the settlement of the 'Ukrainian crisis' (war)," Ushakov said, including taking into account discussions held in the Kremlin with Trump's special representative Steve Whitkoff.

Putin and Trump will discuss bilateral cooperation in the economic sphere and global security issues, Ushakov said.

Lavrov, Ushakov, Belousov, Siluanov, and Dmitriev are reportedly part of the Russian delegation at the summit in Alaska.

The composition of the American delegation for the talks has also been determined, but it would be more appropriate for the American side to announce it, Ushakov believes.

According to him, following the negotiations in Alaska, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump will hold a joint press conference.
