On August 1, Russian troops are launching a massive ballistic missile attack on Kyiv. As a result of the strikes, fires have broken out in at least three districts of the capital, and there is also information about casualties, reports the Kyiv City Military Administration, writes UNN.

According to the KCMA, in the Solomyanskyi district, a six-story building caught fire as a result of the attack. It later became known that cars in the parking lot are also burning there.
As of 2:20 a.m., at least two people are known to have been injured. All victims are receiving qualified medical care.
In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a fire broke out at a car wash due to the Russian strike. In addition, in the Darnytskyi district, a hit on the territory of a non-residential building was recorded.
Currently, the consequences of the shelling have been confirmed in three districts of Kyiv. Information about casualties is being clarified.
According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the threat of ballistic strikes on the capital remains. The KCMA urged residents not to leave shelters even after the air raid alert ends due to the high risk of repeated launches.
According to monitoring channels, over approximately half an hour, Russian troops launched about 20 ballistic missiles at Kyiv. There is no official confirmation of this information yet.
Local public pages also report interruptions in electricity and water supply in some areas of the capital. No official information on the causes and extent of the outages has been released yet.
