Near Henichesk, in the occupied part of Kherson region, swans are dying en masse due to illegal nets, UNN reports with reference to the Center for National Resistance.

According to CNS sources, the Azov Sea coast near the "Gunay" base is covered with swan carcasses. Dozens of dead birds are found along the shore — such cases are repeated regularly.
The reason is stationary nets for catching shrimp, which remain in the water despite prohibitions. Swans get entangled in them and die, unable to break free
The occupation authorities formally announce prohibitions, but there is no control: no inspections or punishments have been recorded over the years.
