American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift "opened her heart and wallet," signing seven-figure checks to various charities fighting hunger, cardiovascular disease, and issues faced by artists, non-profit groups reported on Tuesday, according to UNN, citing NBC News.

The "'tis the damn season" performer donated $1 million to Feeding America, another $1 million to the American Heart Association (AHA), and a "generous contribution" to the Recording Academy's MusiCares fund, according to separate statements from these charities.

"We remain 'fearless' in our relentless commitment to preventing heart disease and helping Americans live long lives," the century-old AHA said in a statement.

Swift's donation to the American Heart Association clearly had a personal connection, as her father, Scott Swift, underwent quintuple bypass surgery in June, the publication writes.

"Taylor's contribution allows for the advancement of ongoing scientific research, strengthens prevention and treatment efforts, and expands access to vital care for every community," the organization stated.

Feeding America CEO Claire Babineaux-Fontenot said her organization was "incredibly grateful" for Swift's support. "This holiday season, her continued support is a powerful reminder of what is possible when we come together to fight hunger," she said in her statement.

On Wednesday, the Academy of Country Music said it was "thrilled to be the recipient of Taylor Swift's incredible generosity."

The two-time ACM Artist of the Year will support the ACM Lifting Lives campaign, which helps musicians navigate economic hardships caused by health issues, the academy said.

Country music can be an inspiring force, and "Taylor embodies that very well," the academy stated.

Swift's fans were also in a generous mood this holiday season, donating to Taylor-related efforts.

During his recent documentary series "End of an Era," fan-favorite dancer Kameron Saunders revealed that when he was first invited to audition for Swift's "Eras Tour," he didn't have money for travel.

According to Kam, he asked his brother, NFL defender Khalen Saunders, to help buy a plane ticket, and he agreed.

Khalen Saunders recently joked that Swift's fans thanked him for supporting his brother, but "no one asked me what I wanted for Christmas."

Swift's fans responded by flooding the player's charity, the Original Element Foundation, which promotes sports for all groups, such as LGBTQ+ youth, with donations of $13 (Swift's lucky number).

"Thank you all so much," Khalen Saunders wrote. "I'm truly grateful for such support. I can assure you that every one of these dollars will be returned to the community!"
