Dnipro police detained a suspect in the terrorist attack. This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine, UNN reports.

At 14:45 today, an explosion occurred near an administrative building in the central district of Dnipro. The tragedy killed a man and injured four other people, including two police officers. The victims are in hospital, and doctors are making every effort to save their lives.
Preliminary data indicate that the suspect was acting on the instructions of the special services of a terrorist country. Thanks to the operational work of the police jointly with the SBU, the offender was detained just a few hours after the crime.
The detainee was a 37-year-old local resident. The police detained him in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
The SBU investigators classified the explosion as a terrorist act under Part 3 of Article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The detainee faces life imprisonment.
The investigation is ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the crime.
