Deputy Prime Minister-Minister for European and Euro - Atlantic Integration-Minister of Justice Olga Stefanishina said that she has weapons.
She said this during the hour of questions to the government in the Verkhovna Rada, reports UNN.
I have a gun, so I believe that I have the right to defend myself. I think that the main part of the powers of the Ministry of justice in terms of legal policy is balance. I have such an obligation, I have an internal obligation, as the minister of Justice. In all legislative changes that will require the position or assessment of the Ministry of justice, there should be a legal balance between punishment, the right to defense, and the right to self-defense
She noted that if legislative changes are proposed for consideration by the Ministry of justice, the assessment of the ministry will be based on compliance with the Constitution, legislation of Ukraine, as well as the principles of Legal Policy, which provides for a balance of rights and obligations of all parties concerned.
