Special forces of Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence captured a Russian serviceman in the occupied territory

Fighters from the "BAT-13" and "ARATTA" units, as part of the "Tymur Special Unit" of the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, conducted an operation in the occupied territory and captured a Russian serviceman. The Defence Intelligence emphasized that this would help exchange the prisoner for a Ukrainian defender.

This was reported by UNN, citing the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Ukrainian special forces entered one of the settlements under the control of the enemy.

As a result, another Russian serviceman ended up in Ukrainian captivity, which will subsequently help return a Ukrainian defender from Russian captivity

The Main Intelligence Directorate noted that behind each such episode are thorough preparation, precise calculation, coordinated cooperation among the group, and faultless decisions.

The Main Intelligence Directorate also reminded Russians: the only chance for a Russian soldier to save his life is to voluntarily surrender.
