Moldovan parliament speaker Igor Grosu said that fraud and organized mobilization of voters from Transnistria during the second round of the presidential election were taking place. He noted that the situation causes a feeling of “deja vu”. This was reported by UNN with reference to NewsMaker.

“We are closely monitoring the situation. Although the turnout at the polls is not bad, we see that criminal groups do not stop. We are talking about incredible resources used for bribery and manipulation,” Grosso said.

The speaker of the parliament emphasized the massive transportation of voters from the left bank of the Dniester.

On the bridge over the Dniester, you can see people who are coerced, manipulated, corrupted, and even intimidated to participate in the elections. This is déjà vu - we have seen it before, when the Transnistrian regime, far from democratic processes and European integration, interfered in our elections

- Grosso said.

Grosu also mentioned the transportation of people from abroad, especially from Belarus and Turkey. “We record charter flights from Minsk and Istanbul. We are not talking about regular flights or a civic initiative,” he said.
