Seven children aged 9 to 17 and their families were rescued from the Russian occupation in Kherson region, the head of the Kherson RMA Oleksandr Prokudin said on Wednesday, UNN reports.

According to him, "children and their parents were horrified to hear what they had to go through in the temporarily occupied Kherson region." "These are bullying, searches and threats," the RMA head said.
"Fortunately, the children and adults are now safe and have a long recovery process ahead of them. They are receiving the necessary medical and psychological assistance," said Prokudin.
According to him, the team of the Save Ukraine charitable organization worked on this return. "I am sincerely grateful for helping our citizens overcome this difficult journey home.
"Since the beginning of 2024 alone, 146 children from the Kherson region have been returned to the government-controlled territory ," Prokudin said.
