Security at petrol stations in the Kyiv region is planned to be strengthened. The region intends to introduce automatic alert notifications, update staff protocols, and improve access to shelters. This was reported by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, writes UNN.
Our common task is to strengthen the safety of employees and visitors at petrol stations in the Kyiv region, taking into account the challenges dictated by the war
According to him, the first priority is to implement automated warning systems and response protocols for petrol station staff when air raid alerts are issued.
The next issue is clearing petrol stations of abandoned vehicles that obstruct evacuation routes, impede access to hydrants, and hinder the passage of emergency vehicles. We will submit specific decisions on these issues to the next meeting of the Kyiv Region Defense Council
In addition, the arrangement of shelters near petrol stations located at a considerable distance from existing protective structures is also on the agenda.
