A prosecutor from the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office has filed a lawsuit to recognize assets used by the family of the acting head of the State Space Agency of Ukraine, Volodymyr Mikheiev, as unsubstantiated. This was reported by UNN with reference to the SAPO.
Details
The assets in question include a 2017 BMW X5 vehicle valued at 950,000 hryvnias. It is registered in his son's name, but collected materials indicate that the official uses it.
The case also involves a garden house with a total area of 145.4 sq. m and a land plot of 0.0686 hectares located on the outskirts of Kyiv. The value of these assets on the day of acquisition was 2,834,209 hryvnias. However, it has been established that their minimum market value is 5,460,000 hryvnias.
An analysis of the income and expenses of the official and his family members confirmed the impossibility of acquiring these objects (valued at over 6.4 million hryvnias) through legal earnings
The SAPO prosecutor filed the lawsuit with the High Anti-Corruption Court. At the same time, upon the prosecutor's application and as an interim measure to secure the claim, the court seized the aforementioned property.
