"Russian invaders continue to shell the border areas of Chernihiv and Sumy regions. A total of 24 attacks (97 explosions) from various types of weapons were recorded during the day," the "North" operational command reported on Telegram.
As noted, in Chernihiv region, in Semenivka community, there were allegedly hostile UAV drops of explosive ordnance in Leonivka, 120-mm mortar attacks in Baranivka, in Snovske community and in Novhorod-Siverska community, also with 120-mm mortars.
In Sumy region, in Sumy district - allegedly LNG shelling, UAVs, NAR from a helicopter, UAVs, mortars, in Okhtyrka district - allegedly UAVs dropping LNG, 120 mm mortar, 82 mm mortar, UAVs, in Shostka district - allegedly 120 mm mortar.
Information about the destruction, deaths or injuries among the local population is being clarified, the Sever military command said.
Already at night and in the morning, according to the Sumy RMA, the Russians fired three times at the Krasnopil community in Sumy region - 8 mortar explosions and 1 artillery explosion were recorded.
