In the Luhansk region, Russian troops attacked de-occupied villages with artillery, the occupied territories decided to reduce the network of cultural institutions, and dachas were "nationalized" in Severodonetsk, the Luhansk RMA reported on Monday on Facebook, UNN reports.
Details
"The enemy attacked near four localities. Namely, near Stelmakhivka in the Kupyansk sector, as well as in the areas of Hrekivka, Makiivka and Nevske in the Lyman sector. The invaders are targeting these villages, destroying the last residential buildings. Thus, this time Nevske and Makiivka were shelled with artillery. The occupants used 65 unmanned aerial vehicles in the said area," noted Artem Lysohor, head of the Luhansk RMA.
According to the RMA, the decision to reduce the network of cultural institutions in the occupied territories was made by the occupation "ministry of culture". "This is due to the lack of money to support the activities of the institutions and for equipment or repairs - Russia has significantly limited funding. (...) The first to be so-called "optimized" will be cultural institutions that need to be repaired or purchase new equipment - that is, significant investments. Next, those located in towns and villages with a small population, as well as those with enough vacancies," the RMA said.
According to the aforementioned Russian project, which makes restoration impossible, these settlements will be purchased with clubs on wheels.
"In Sievierodonetsk, the program of 'squeezing' real estate was extended to dachas and garden plots around the city. They gave people a month to confirm their ownership. They used a proven method - posting ads around the town and on the Internet, which the townspeople still don't have. Thus, the residents of Severodonetsk learned about the possible loss of their property by accident," the RMA also said.
