In the Russian Federation, it was officially decided to include stories about the "feats" of participants in the war against Ukraine in the unified state textbooks on the Russian language for grades 10-11 and college students. This is reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (CCD), as conveyed by UNN.
Details
It is noted that, apparently, the Kremlin decided that military propaganda in history and social studies textbooks is not enough for brainwashing young people.
It will not be surprising if over time mentions of the war appear even in textbooks on mathematics or biology
They assess that these innovations are another proof that the Russian education system has finally turned into a conveyor belt for the ideological processing of children and youth.
"Such manipulations with educational literature also fit into the Kremlin's strategy of assimilating Ukrainian children in the temporarily occupied territories. The occupying state seeks to erase their Ukrainian identity in order to turn them into a mobilization resource for Russia in the future," the CCD concludes.
Recall
In children's camps in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, children are being imposed with the Russian version of history. The occupation authorities distort the role of Kyiv in the formation of Kyivan Rus to justify the invasion.
