Russian occupation forces have changed their offensive tactics and have almost abandoned mass assaults, instead using small infantry groups that try to infiltrate unnoticed through Ukrainian positions. This was reported by the spokesperson of the OSGV Viktor Tregubov, as reported by UNN.

According to Tregubov, Russian forces are currently using the same tactics on almost all fronts.
"Now, in principle, from a tactical point of view, on all fronts they have the same thing - infiltration by small groups. Such groups try to pass through the 'kill zone' so that Ukrainian drones do not destroy them and they are not noticed during their advance. With rare exceptions, no one is trying to carry out such suicide attacks anymore, because they simply cannot cope with Ukrainian drones,"
Tregubov also noted that the use of armored vehicles by Russian forces is currently minimal, while the occupiers use motorcycles and cars somewhat more often.
Separately, the OSGV spokesperson commented on the situation in the Kharkiv region. According to him, the main goal of the Russian forces remains the creation of a so-called "buffer zone" along the Ukrainian-Russian border, rather than a direct offensive on Kharkiv.
He also warned that Russian propaganda will continue to spread false reports about the alleged capture of border settlements in the Kharkiv region. According to Tregubov's assessment, the Russian command has no specific deadlines for capturing small border villages.
