Putin voices new claims to Ukrainian lands and conditions for peace

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin made a series of further statements after President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote him an open letter. Putin stated this during the broadcast of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, UNN reports with reference to Russian "media."

According to the dictator, Russia will seek the "denazification" of Ukraine, but through diplomatic means. He added that the Russian army has allegedly "completely" captured the Luhansk region, and already "controls 85%" of the territory of the Donetsk region.

All other tasks, including the denazification of Ukraine, will be resolved through negotiations. The goals of the "SVO" (Special Military Operation) were defined back in 2024, and they remain unchanged
