Power and communication lost in Melitopol, Tokmak, and Henichesk; explosions reported in occupied territories – ATESH

Following explosions on June 9, power went out in Melitopol, Tokmak, and Henichesk. The ATESH movement reports a lack of mobile communication and internet in the occupied territories.

In the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, and Kherson regions, a series of explosions occurred on the evening of June 9, followed by power outages and communication disruptions in several settlements. This was reported by the ATESH partisan movement, according to UNN.

According to the movement's agents, mobile communications and the internet have almost completely disappeared in Melitopol and Luhansk. ATESH attributes this to the operation of Russian electronic warfare systems. Explosions were also reported in the Kuibyshevskyi district of occupied Donetsk.

Later, an explosion occurred in Melitopol, after which part of the city was left without electricity. Subsequently, ATESH agents reported repeated explosions. Occupied Tokmak and Henichesk were also left without power.

Furthermore, according to the movement, explosions were heard in the area of Yakymivka in the Melitopol district. ATESH also reported preliminary strikes on Ilovaisk in the Donetsk region. Information regarding the consequences of the explosions and possible damage is currently being clarified.
