A 39-year-old Polish citizen has been sentenced to four months in prison and a six-year ban on entering Denmark for attacking the country's Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen in June. This is reported by DR Nyhender, UNN reports, citing the court decision.

In the decision, the court emphasizes that the convict explained that he recognized the Prime Minister and that her security "saw him as an aggressive man." The court also banned him from entering Denmark for six years. Through his lawyers, the 39-year-old Pole said that he agreed with the court's verdict and would not appeal it.
