Poland may sell MiG-29 aircraft to Bulgaria if Ukraine "does not hurry". In exchange for the aircraft, the Poles want cooperation with Ukrainians in drone production. This was reported in an interview with Wirtualna Polska by the head of the Polish defense ministry, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, UNN informs.

According to him, negotiations are currently ongoing between Warsaw and Kyiv regarding aircraft maintenance and repair financing. In return, Poland wants to receive cooperation from Ukraine in the production of unmanned aerial vehicles.
Today everything depends on the Ukrainian side. Our proposal is on the table: we have MiGs that Ukraine is interested in. And that is why they are gradually being decommissioned from the Polish Air Force. ... Seeing how Ukraine has built a drone industry and sells them to the Middle East, which means that not all the drones it produces are used in the war, i.e., it has capabilities greater than needed at the front and for its own army, and is making a profit from it, it is time to say what we expect from them
He emphasized that the Polish MiGs are in good condition.
"In sufficiently good condition that the Bulgarians want to buy them. If someone is ready to pay for them, it means they are really good. ... The first goal is to reach an agreement with Ukraine. If that does not work, then please, go ahead. Time for Ukraine on this matter is running out, a final decision must be made in the coming weeks," the Polish defense minister summed up.
Context
In early July, it became known that Poland suspended the transfer of MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine due to the alleged failure of Kyiv to fulfill the agreement on unmanned technologies. The aircraft will be gradually decommissioned due to wear and tear.
Earlier, the Polish defense group Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa stated its readiness to service and repair Ukrainian MiG-29 and F-16 fighters, despite the fact that Warsaw once again refused to transfer additional Soviet aircraft to Ukraine.
