Repairs are still underway in Odesa following the massive Russian attack on the night of August 9; another 2,600 households remain without electricity, UNN reports, citing DTEK.

After the massive attack on the night of August 9, energy workers managed to restore power to most Odesa residents’ homes. But repairs are still underway: another 2,600 households in the Peresypskyi district remain without electricity. Our crews are working in an enhanced mode to restore power to all homes as quickly as possible

- the statement said.

DTEK emphasized that a significant part of the city and region is currently receiving electricity through temporary schemes. Due to the heat, they are unable to transmit the full amount of electricity required. To prevent equipment damage and large-scale outages, energy workers are forced to implement emergency shutdowns.

Residents of Odesa and the region were urged to conserve electricity and switch on energy-intensive appliances one at a time, especially during peak hours—from 17:00 to 23:00.
