The Verkhovna Rada will consider the resignation of Mykola Solsky as Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine at its next meeting.

Verkhovna Rada Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk said that at the next session of the parliament they will consider a statement from Mykola Solsky on his resignation as Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. He said this during a telethon on Friday, UNN reports.

As for the dear Mr. Minister, yes, we have received a statement, as I posted on my social media, this is the Minister's request. And then, of course, it is a matter for the relevant law enforcement and judicial authorities. And I want everyone to clearly understand that it is very important for us that in a democratic country, it is the judiciary that puts an end to any such disputes, any persecution. Therefore, the Parliament will do its political work, and at the next meeting we will consider this issue

- Stefanchuk said.
