Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban meets with former US President Donald Trump in Florida to discuss "ways to establish peace" in Ukraine.

On Thursday, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban left the NATO summit in Washington ahead of schedule to meet with former US President Donald Trump at a private residence in Florida, UNN reports citing Axios.

Orban wrote on social media that he and Trump "discussed ways to establish peace," adding, "He is going to solve this problem.

A spokesperson for the Trump campaign confirmed the meeting but would not comment on what was discussed.

Earlier, Trump called Orban "one of the strongest leaders in the world.

Trump thanked Orban by reposting the Hungarian leader's post about "peace.

"There must be PEACE, and fast," Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth. "Too many people have died in a war that should never have started!"
