According to Kuwaiti authorities and state media, flights at Kuwait International Airport were suspended after an Iranian drone and missile strike damaged the Terminal 1 building, as well as the diplomatic missions of several foreign states.
Subsequently, Kuwait's civil aviation authority announced that Kuwait Airways is resuming flights from Terminal 4 after assessing the damage and implementing security measures.
Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti armed forces stated that since Wednesday morning, they have tracked and intercepted 13 ballistic missiles and 17 drones in Kuwaiti airspace, the debris of which fell in several residential areas.
In addition, U.S. forces stated that two Iranian missiles aimed at Kuwait fell short of their target or disintegrated in flight, while several ballistic missiles missed their targets in the region.
