Mykhailo Mudryk: four-year disqualification overturned, I return to football

Ukrainian footballer Mykhailo Mudryk announced that the four-year ban on his career has been overturned. He stated that he never knowingly used prohibited substances and will now focus on returning to football.

Ukrainian footballer Mykhailo Mudryk stated that the temporary disqualification has been lifted and his focus will be on returning to football, reports UNN.

After a long struggle, the four-year ban imposed on me has been lifted, and I have the right to immediately resume my career. I am grateful that this process is over, that I am allowed to return to football, and that I can now look to the future with optimism. This was the most difficult period of my career 

- Mudryk said.

The footballer noted that he has always maintained from the very beginning of this case that he never knowingly or intentionally used any prohibited substance.

My commitment to fair play and representing my club and country with professionalism and integrity has always been important to me  

- Mudryk emphasized.

The footballer thanked his family and friends for their support and belief throughout this entire period.

I also want to express deep gratitude to everyone at "Chelsea," my teammates, and Chelsea fans who have been with me all this time. I also want to thank my legal team and others who helped for their tireless work on my case 

- Mudryk added.

He assured that his focus is now on returning to football, working hard every day, and making a positive contribution on the field.

Later, "Chelsea" confirmed the positive doping test of Ukrainian midfielder Mykhailo Mudryk. In turn, the footballer himself stated that he did not knowingly use any prohibited substances. 

The Football Association of England (FA) charged Ukrainian winger of "Chelsea" Mykhailo Mudryk with violating anti-doping rules. 

In June last year, Mudryk received a positive result of the "B" doping sample. 

During his suspension from football, Mudryk spends time, in particular, on computer games, including Counter-Strike 2.

Yes, in February this year, the footballer was involved in a scandal during a Faceit match with Poles. The winger of the London club insulted players from Poland, in particular with his statements regarding Volyn, for which he received a ban in the game. 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs even had to intervene in the situation with Mudryk, in particular, the ministry emphasized that there should be no place for such incidents.
