He recalled that in January 2023, a SES helicopter with Interior Ministry officials on board crashed on the territory of the kindergarten. The explosion and fire severely damaged and partially destroyed the facility.
According to the head of CRSA, the kindergarten is designed for 270 children. During the renovation, the premises of Dzhereltsia will be redesigned, and the system of exits and entrances will be changed.
Separate halls for music and physical education will also be set up here, as well as a modern comfortable shelter to keep the kids and staff safe during the air raid.
In addition, they will equip a modern canteen, laundry, and first-aid post.
He said that the builders had already completed such work:
- dismantled the destroyed part of the building
- arranged all engineering networks
- monolithic/concrete works
- roofing
- arrangement of entrance groups

On the morning of January 18, 2023, a helicopter of the State Emergency Service crashed in Brovary, Kyiv region , and fell on a kindergarten.
There were nine people on board, including the leadership of the Interior Ministry - Minister Denys Monastyrsky, First Deputy Yevhen Yenin and State Secretary Yuriy Lubkovych.
All of them died. A total of 14 bodies were found, including one child.
