US President-elect Donald Trump has invited Argentine Presidents Javier Milea and El Salvador's Nayeba Buchele to his inauguration. This was reported by AR, according to UNN.
Details
According to the agency, Miley has already announced his plans to go to Washington, breaking with the American political tradition of foreign heads of state not being present during the transfer of power in the United States.
Biden's spokesman Manuel Adorni said that Trump had invited the Argentine leader, noting that it was the first time such an invitation had been sent to a president from a South American country.
El Salvador's ambassador to the United States also said that an invitation had been sent to his country's president, Nayib Buchele, but he had not yet decided whether to accept it, hesitating because of security concerns.
According to the Associated Press, no head of state has ever made an official visit to the United States for an inauguration.
Recall
US President-elect Donald Trump saidthat he did not send an invitation to Zelenskyy to attend the inauguration on January 20. However, he expressed his readiness to host the Ukrainian president if he wants to come.
