The Colombian Geological Service has recorded more than 70 aftershocks across the country since the magnitude 7.4 earthquake that occurred yesterday, UNN reports, citing Sky News.

The Geological Service said that there will "likely" be more aftershocks, which may continue for some time.
"They may continue for days, weeks or even months, as energy continues to be released until the areas around the rupture zone of the main earthquake return to equilibrium," the statement said.
