In Ukraine, the possibility of receiving state aid for the education of children has been expanded, government representative in parliament Taras Melnychuk announced on Monday in Telegram, writes UNN.

Now, educational assistance can be received by children of persons with disabilities due to war, as defined in paragraph 10 of part two of Article 7 of the Law of Ukraine "On the Status of War Veterans, Guarantees of Their Social Protection", namely - those who became persons with disabilities as a result of injuries or damages received during participation in mass protest actions from November 21, 2013, to February 21, 2014 - during the Revolution of Dignity.
The verification procedure for confirming a child's right to receive such assistance has been changed - the Ministry of Education and Science has allowed this to be done in e-format.
The priority sequence for providing such assistance has also been determined - with a preferential right to receive it for those who are completing their studies for a degree in professional pre-higher or higher education in the 2024/2025 academic year.
Relevant changes were made to the Procedure for the implementation of an experimental project on providing state assistance for education to children of certain categories of persons who defended the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
