US Secretary of State Marco Rubio will travel to Brussels to attend a meeting of NATO foreign ministers. The meeting is expected to discuss the challenges facing the Alliance, including the terrorist rf's war against Ukraine, the US role in ending hostilities, and the strategic risks associated with China. 

In addition to the general meeting, Rubio will hold a series of bilateral meetings with representatives of allied states. According to the State Department, the priority topics of the negotiations include coordination of defense policy, strengthening transatlantic ties and preparation for the NATO Summit to be held in the Netherlands in the summer.
