Health Minister Lyashko has appointed Oleksandr Urin as acting director of the Okhmatdyt children's hospital. Urin previously worked as head of one of the hospital's departments. Lyashko announced this on Facebook, UNN reports.
Following the meeting, and taking into account the doctors' advice, he decided to temporarily entrust the duties of the Okhmatdyt General Director to Oleksandr Urin, who currently heads the Okhmatdyt's Intensive and Efferent Therapy Department for Acute Intoxication.
Lyashko said that he was convinced that the hospital staff trusted Urin. He also promised to "fully support decisions that will make Okhmatdyt even better". According to him, a lot of such decisions have already been made.
Recall
Yesterday, Okhmatdyt CEO Volodymyr Zhovnir said that the Okhmatdyt - Healthy Childhood Charitable Foundation, which has raised over UAH 370 million to restore the hospital, has no plans to transfer funds to the account of the Okhmatdyt National Children's Hospital.
And today, Health Minister Viktor Lyashko suspended from his duties. He said that the facts related to the restoration of the Okhmatdyt buildings were distorted.
