The National Multi-Subject Test (NMT) is the same for all applicants, and statistics from previous years show that the majority of participants successfully pass the threshold. This is how Minister of Education and Science Oksen Lisovyi commented on whether the option of easing the NMT is being considered against the backdrop of difficult wartime conditions, in a comment to journalists, UNN reports.
The test is equal for everyone. It can be easier for everyone, (...) it can be more difficult for everyone (...), but this does not cancel out the possibilities—competition for spots remains. The percentage of children who did not pass the NMT test at that minimum passing score is extremely low; it fluctuates up to 20% from year to year. This indicates that the test is accessible and that passing it is possible. Accordingly, university admission has a threshold of some basic knowledge.

In one of the examination centers in the Odesa region, NMT participants spent nearly 13 hours in a shelter due to air raid alerts. Furthermore, according to the graduates, they were not provided with access to water or food during this entire time.
