Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba had a telephone conversation with the newly appointed British Foreign Secretary David Lammy and invited him to visit Ukraine, UNN reports.
"I have just had a conversation with the newly appointed Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, David Lammy, during which I congratulated him on his start at the head of British diplomacy. I am grateful to my colleague for reaffirming the UK's unwavering support for Ukraine in all areas," Kuleba wrote on social networking site X.
According to him, we discussed the next steps in our bilateral relations and paid special attention to the upcoming NATO summit in Washington.
"The Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs has accepted my invitation to pay a visit to Ukraine," the Ukrainian Foreign Minister said.
