During a working visit to China, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba met with Guangdong Governor Wang Weizhong and a delegation of regional officials. This was reported by UNN with reference to the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

The Foreign Minister noted the high level of development of Guangzhou and Guangdong province. Dmytro Kuleba emphasized the importance of regional cooperation between Ukraine and other countries.
In particular, he told the Chinese officials that a number of European countries have already taken patronage of a number of Ukrainian cities and regions, participating in their restoration and development.
According to the Ukrainian minister, such cooperation between countries at the regional level allows achieving tangible results for people.
Dmytro Kuleba reminded that Guangdong Province and Mykolaiv Oblast have been establishing partnership relations since 1994 and invited the authorities and business of the Chinese province to consider the possibility of intensifying regional cooperation.
