"We discussed preparations for the next heating season. This involves attracting additional financial resources to form the necessary gas reserves and restore the energy infrastructure, which Russia continues to deliberately destroy," Koretskyi indicated.
The European Union, he emphasized, remains Ukraine's largest financial partner.
Within the framework of the Ukraine Support Loan, Ukraine has already received 8.1 billion euros. We count on the timely allocation this year of the next tranches of macro-financial assistance and the Ukraine Facility, which are critically important for ensuring Ukraine's financial stability
Special attention, according to him, was paid by the parties "to strengthening sanctions pressure on Russia and bolstering Ukrainian air defense." "Ukraine needs additional interceptors capable of shooting down Russian ballistic missiles. I appealed to the European Commission with a request to facilitate the fastest possible provision of such means to Ukraine to protect the lives of our people. We agreed that more active cooperation is needed within the framework of a joint anti-ballistic project," the Prime Minister noted.
"I thanked the President of the European Commission for her consistent support of Ukraine. It is important that all reached agreements are promptly implemented," he emphasized.
