Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto stated that after Mykhailo Fedorov was dismissed from the post of Minister of Defense of Ukraine, he offered him a position as his advisor. This is reported by UNN with reference to Reuters.

According to Crosetto, he contacted Fedorov the very next day after his resignation.
"I called him the day after his dismissal and asked: 'When do you want to come to Rome and work with me as an advisor?'" the Italian minister said.
He noted that Fedorov was "touched" by such an offer and perceived it as "a sign of respect and friendship."
Crosetto also highly praised the contribution of the former Ukrainian minister to the development of military technologies. According to him, Fedorov became one of those who fundamentally changed modern approaches to warfare, helping Ukraine first to contain the Russian invasion and later to seize the initiative through the implementation of innovative solutions on the battlefield.
