The delegation is headed by Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf, and also includes Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, Secretary of the Defense Council Ali-Akbar Ahmadian, Central Bank Governor Abdolnaser Hemmati, and deputies.

Until the last moment, Tehran did not confirm its participation in the negotiations, stating that the terms of the truce had not been met, particularly regarding the cessation of Israeli hostilities in Lebanon. At the same time, Iran continues to block the Strait of Hormuz.
American side
The American delegation is headed by US Vice President J.D. Vance, who is en route to Pakistan. His plane previously made a technical stop in Paris for refueling.
Negotiations between the parties are expected in the near future, but their prospects remain uncertain.
