Details
According to a source, Israel is preparing for a direct attack by Iran on the south or north of Israel as early as Friday or Saturday
However, the source said that while plans for the attack are being discussed, no final decision has been made.
In turn, The Times of Israel writes that Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian conveyed a message to Washington that said the Iranian army would respond to a possible Israeli attack on its Syrian embassy in a way that would avoid serious escalation and would not act hastily.
A source familiar with U.S. intelligence was not aware of the report, but said Iran had "made it very clear" that its response to the attack on the embassy compound in Damascus would be "controlled" and "non-escalatory."
