During a journalistic investigation, UNN received materials from sources in which whistleblowers point to new real estate registered in the name of the uncle of Deputy Minister of Justice Andriy Haichenko. This is another case in a series of real estate findings related to his family, UNN reports.
Property of Haichenko's parents
Earlier, UNN journalists established that, according to registers, the following are registered in the name of Andriy Haichenko's parents:
- four apartments in the center of Kyiv,
- two parking spaces,
- two houses in the suburbs of the capital,
- 0.5 hectares of land plots.
It is noteworthy that part of this property is mortgaged, where Haichenko's mother acts as the mortgagee, and the father as the mortgagor, and vice versa. Such schemes are often used to avoid confiscation or re-registration of ownership to other persons in case of court decisions.
New real estate for Haichenko's uncle
The investigation established that another series of real estate objects are registered in the name of Haichenko's mother's brother - Anatoliy Tsyndrovskyi.
In particular:
- 2019 - acquired a land plot in the suburbs of Kyiv next to the plots of the official's mother, Lyudmyla Tsyndrovska.
- 2020 - received as a gift a residential building and a land plot in the same location. The cost of the land alone in this area is 3 thousand dollars per hundred square meters.
- 2021 - received as a gift an apartment at Kyiv, Ihor Sikorskyi St., 1B, worth about 130 thousand dollars.
- 2024 - purchased a house in Vita-Poshtova with a land plot (15 hundred square meters, estimated value - from 60 thousand dollars).
Anatoliy Tsyndrovskyi is a member of the board of Kyiv ATP-13054.
Family financial transactions
It should be noted that Anatoliy Tsyndrovskyi's son, Yevhen, was employed by the Ministry of Justice in 2021, where Andriy Haichenko was already working. For 2020, he declared his only income - a gift from his father of UAH 3 million. In 2021 - another UAH 2 million from his father. In 2022 - UAH 1 million as a gift. In the same year, he gifted a car to an unknown person.
Financial transactions between family members may indicate a scheme of asset dispersion to avoid a direct connection with Deputy Minister Andriy Haichenko.
The official himself claims that the property was acquired before his appointment to the Ministry of Justice. However, this statement applies only to part of the property. The land and houses registered in the name of his relatives, in particular, were registered during his tenure.
During Andriy Haichenko's time at the Ministry of Justice, his mother and uncle received valuable and elite gifts: land plots with an estimated value of 130 thousand dollars, an apartment worth 130 thousand dollars. They became owners of two residential buildings. Haichenko's mother is building another house. The uncle gave UAH 6 million to his son, who works in public service and has modest incomes. The uncle also bought a new Mercedes for UAH 1.7 million and bought a house in Vita-Poshtova, where the cost of land alone starts from 60,000 dollars.
We should add that the register also records suspicious synchronous actions by people close to Haichenko, so the list of property may not be exhaustive.
UNN publishes videos received anonymously - they most likely show houses and land plots that, according to the registers, belong to the Haichenko family.
The editorial office also expects official information from the NACP regarding the start of a lifestyle check of Haichenko, as well as a comment from his superior - Minister of Justice Olha Stefanishyna.
