During a joint press conference with his Lithuanian counterpart Gitanas Nausėda, Latvian President Edgars Rinkēvičs noted: this information indicates various attempts to carry out sabotage and weaken security in NATO states.
At the same time, Rinkēvičs did not specify which countries these attempts were directed against. Meanwhile, Nausėda stated: Lithuania has intelligence data that Russia is planning attacks on infrastructure, and this Baltic country will strengthen the protection of energy and transport facilities as a precautionary measure.
